On the eve of the one year anniversary of the tragic death of Paul Walker, HybridTurbos.com would like to dedicate this blog post as tribute to the inspirational father, charity founder, actor, model and avid car enthusiast.
The Hybrid Turbo team, along with the rest of the world, were left in shock when the news broke that Paul Walker, star of the Fast and Furious franchise, had died in a fatal car accident at the age of 40. Paul was traveling in the passenger seat of a Porsche Carrera GT driven by close friend, and co-owner of always evolving, Roger Rodas - a 38 year old pro-am racer who tragically also died.
The automotive industry, globally, paid tribute to Paul Walker’s death. As those who were also keen motor enthusiasts were aware of Walker's passion for cars and talent on the race course. Walker, alongside his other commitments and achievements, had respectively built a career as a racing car driver and had competed in the Redline Time Attack racing series driving an M3 E92, and was also a popular member of the AE Performance Team.
It was a little while after the news of his death broke, when we found out just how much of a car enthusiast Walker actually was! An online video came to our attention of his, and the late Roger Rodas’, joint car collection - a beautiful array of the world’s finest cars. We consider their collection to be an absolute masterpiece, a work of art, and a fine tribute to a life passion of theirs.
For those in the UK who would like to commemorate the life of Paul Walker, there is a remembrance meet taking place at Beaulieu Event Arena on Sunday 30th November. All motoring enthusiasts are invited to attend and to display cars to show your appreciation. A collection will be offered to raise funds for Walker's charity, Reach out Worldwide.

As featured in the video above, Paul Walker had an incredibly impressive car collection, suggesting that he shared the same passion for cars as his fictional character Brian O'Connor, in the globally popular Fast & Furious Franchise.
According to TMZ, Walker's rather exotic car shop, Always Evolving, is organising the sale of cars featured in the collection, and has decided not to publicise the sale or Walker's connection to them. They felt that Paul Walker would not want his name used if his cars were sold as it was all about the cars, and not who owned them.
The sale of these cars, said to include several late-model BMWs, Audis, Porsches, and a number of Ford Mustangs, have already begun through private brokers within the United States.
Matt Farah, featured in the video, was given the opportunity to look at the collection at the shop's garage back in 2012, and the video above is said to most likely be the most detailed look that anyone will receive of Walker's collection.
The only other known car owned by Walker which has recently been offered for sale is his Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R, owned by a Munich-based tuning shop called GT-A. The German shop offered the car for 1 million Euros along with a promise to donate half the proceeds to Walker's charity, Reach Out Worldwide,
